15 August 1886 — Syltebo, Romsdalsfjord | |
Sunday. 15th [August 1886]. Carved. Took a walk with Henry down to Noste point & back to 4 o’cl dinner. Henry went to Haande to fish. I went to Kjespool down & got nothing. Henry killed 27 lb. salmon. When I got to the end of my beat I was just going to try the bridge when John came down to say the steamer was come with Monty, Mrs Hambro & Miss Wade Brown so I gave up my rod & came home– They soon arrived & we had supper & went to bed– | |
