22 August 1886 — Syltebo, Romsdalsfjord | |
Sunday. 22nd August [1886]. Henry brought the salmon lists to my room & we finished them before I got up. Fed the chickens & dawdled abt in morning. Copied out fishing lists. Carved. Dined at 4. Henry went to Kirk Pool in evening. I fished the 2 Gredhus. Got nothing. Lost a fish & touched 2 more. Henry got 13 lb. salmon, a grilse & 2 trout. Supper at 9.30. I & Susan played cribbage. | |
