17 September 1886 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Friday. 17th September [1886]. I cleaned the sewing machine & began to make curtains for the red spare room. Mrs Brown came to see me. We went to see the Edens at their garden. After dinner took a turn in the Piazza & then played cribbage till bed time. | |
