27 September 1886 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Monday. 27th [September 1886]. I went to the Academy. Saw Mrs Eden & Mrs Balfour came there. After lunch we went to Sagusos to see a stone cut shield he has for sale which we think of buying to put on this house. Went to Edens’ garden to get some flowers. Dined 7. Mrs Burr & Isabel Scobell arrived to stay with us at 8. Gave them tea. | |
