28 September 1886 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 28th [September 1886]. Went to copy at Academy—& afterwards picked up Mrs Burr & Isabel at Piazzetta & brought them home to luncheon. After luncheon Mrs Eden came with Mrs Balfour & the 2 girls to see our pictures & we took them all over the house. Henry went out with them. I & Mrs Burr remained at home & had tea in the studio. After dinner Henry took out Mrs B & Isabel & I went early to bed. Lovely cool weather. | |
