29 September 1886 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Wednesday. 29th September [1886]. Academy. After lunch made an expedition to Murano. We went to the Edens. There Henry & Miss Scobell got into the Edens launch & Mrs Burr & I went on in our gondola. After sitting to see the glass made Mrs Burr & I came straight home. The others went to the churches & had tea on the launch. Mrs Burr & I had tea in the studio & chatted till dinner. Henry took out Isabel in evening. Count Corti turned up in the evening being here for 2 days. | |
