Wednesday. 13th [October 1886]. Drew flowers for Mme d’Adda to embroider. Wet day. Countess Sormani Moretti & her mother Mme Costantin came over to lunch. Sat working with Ninina & Mme d’Adda. Played piano & sang with Katie & Isabel who played penny whistle very prettily. There was a splendid rainbow towards evening so perfect as to touch the ground both sides. | |
