19 October 1886 — La Punta, Longarone | |
Tuesday. 19th October [1886]. The weather cleared a little so we set off at 10 in Mr Malcolm’s open carriage to drive down to Vittorio as the roads were heavy we did not get there till nearly one. Went to the inn & had lunch & then took the 2 o’cl train & reached Venice abt 5.30. Isabel Scobell stayed & dined with us & then went to join Mrs Burr at the Pension Suisse. | |
