Sunday. 31st October [1886]. Katie Colnaghi left us & returned to her home at Florence by 1 o’cl train. Henry took her to the station. I did not go out at all. Henry took Lady Bagot & Leila to the Lido to walk. Mme Hurtado came to tea. Mme Pisani called with Miss McClellan the American Genl. of fame’s daughter. Mrs Burr & Isabel Scobell dined with us. Played patience & the harmonium after dinner. | |
