4 November 1886 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 4th [November 1886]. Played guitar in morng with Leilah. After lunch went out in gondola to Lady Bagot & to tea with Mrs Bronson where all her company were assembled previous to going to the Marionettes. There we [met] Mr Cullum & his niece Miss Robertson & her lady Miss Collett, Mr Browning, Katie & Leilah Bagot & Mr St Leger. Mr & Mrs Eden dined with us & we played “plait” patience in evening. | |
