12 November 1886 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Friday. 12th [November 1886]. Went to the gallery to paint all the morning. After lunch we had our guitar lesson Leilah, Idita & I. In the evening we had a tea party, P. & Pss Windischgrätz, the Bronson & Eden parties &c &c. Some played patience, some a round game of cards & Mrs Bronson played backgammon. Mrs Ross sang to the guitar, Miss Hammersley played the piano & we had a very lovely evening. | |
