30 November 1886 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 30th November [1886]. Edith & I had a guitar lesson in the midst of wh she went off to the station to see the Miss Hammersleys go away but she returned to luncheon & sat with me some time after. I did not go out my cold still being heavy. Mrs Hulton & Miss Spence came to tea. Played patience with Henry afterwards till dinner at ¼ 7. Henry went to hear Boccaccio. I practised the guitar & went early to bed. | |
