Wednesday. 9th [February 1887]. I drove out in the afternoon, shopped & went home early expecting Alice to tea but she did not come. Arthur came. Henry went to Blanche’s to see her children dressed for a Fancy ball. We dined with the Du Canes at 25 Park Crescent, a family party. | |
