Friday. 25th [March 1887]. Had a guitar lesson in the morning. Dined at home & went in the evening to Sir Frederic Leightons to a musical party. I sat all the evening between Browning & Lady Lytton. Joachim, Piatti & Hallé began with a trio. Mlle Zimmerman also played & a swedish lady sang. | |
