Thursday. 24th March [1887]. Practised guitar. Went out a for little walk with Blanche after lunch. Sir Patrick Colquhoun came to lunch. Drove out with Henry, went to the French Protestant Bazaar in Kensington Hall—met Elaine Guest there– Called on Lady Malmesbury & had tea with her, then on to Lady Thompson—then in to see Blanche a moment, home & rested till dinner. Maria came in for a while. Dinner party, Genl & Lady Dickson, Sir A. Otway, Mr & Mrs Ball, Mr & Mrs Poynter, Mr Sydney Colvin, Mr Mitchell Henry, Nela Du Cane, Miss Duff Gordon. | |
