4 May 1887 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Wednesday. 4th May [1887]. I got up late, breakfasted in bed. Katie was up early & she & I sat talking together. After lunch Henry went to the station to meet the Aberdares whom we expected from Florence to stay with us. They did not come. We went to a tea party at Mrs Browns at 4.30. Very tired & went early to bed. | |
