Friday. 6th May [1887]. The Aberdares arrived from Florence at 3.30 today. We had an English party in the evening. Marchesa Gavotti, Mr Smart, Mrs Bronson, the Montalbas, Mlle Mercier & Mlle Jackowska, Mr & Mrs Hamilton. Lord Aberdare was tired & ill & had to go to bed early. | |
