Thursday. 22nd [September 1887]. Henry took Kate sight seeing. Mama & I went to antiquity shops & at Mme Arrigoni’s we came upon a great find of old playing cards upon which Mama pounced & carried off at once in our cab. We went off to Venice by 1.20 train & arrived there for dinner. | |
