27 September 1887 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 27th [September 1887]. Leaving Kate & Mama to take care of each other Henry & I left Venice with Mr Malcolm & went up to Longarone to meet the Crown Princess of Germany who was to stay a night with Mr Malcolm at La Punta. We found the house all done up & rearranged—new rooms built and all very nice & comfortable. The weather hot & pleasant. | |
