1 November 1887 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 1st November [1887]. All Saints. Kate had a headache & did not get up till lunch. I had a lace lesson– Wet day & did not go out. Miss Bronson & Miss Ker came to tea. We dined at 7 & Henry, Kate & the Gregorys went to the Rossini Theatre to see “I due Zorcari.” I played Patience & talked to Mama till they returned at 11 & we had tea. After lunch Henry took Kate to the burying grounds. | |
