4 January 1888 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Wednesday. 4th January [1888]. I went to the studio—& we began to draw a full length figure of a gondolier. Home at 12. Read aloud to Ola. Did not go out. Ola & Henry & Raymond went out– Arranged for the Snap Dragon & Bran Pie which we had for the children of some of our friends. There were only 7 of them but they enjoyed themselves & coming at 5 stayed until 7. | |
