20 January 1888 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Friday. 20th [January 1888]. I went to the studio for the last time & brought home my daubs from there. We had our last Trios this evening. Marzials dined with us & also the 4 Trevelyan girls & we had a merry party in the little upstairs dining room– We had a good many people the Hurtados, P. Metternich, Browns, Trevelyans & Canevaros to hear the Concert—& the girls played very well– Audrey & I sang a canon of Marzials “Go pretty rose.” | |
