29 March 1888 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 29th [March 1888]. Church in morning. Arranged the hall for music and brought Ola downstairs into the drawing room & put her on the sofa quite by her self to hear the duos played by the Trevelyans & Dini. Mme de Pilat came. It began at 2. Marzials & Mr Sillence & Mrs Brown. We had tea afterwards at 5. Ola bore the fatigue very well. Henry went to station to meet the Holmes Whites who go to Hotel Britannia. | |
