Monday. 23rd [April 1888]. Still rainy. Mrs Rate came in the morning. Frederic & his boy Raymond came just after lunch & they went out with me. Henry remained at home. I went to see Lady Tavistock & Rachel Gurney & had a long talk with them. Returned home for tea. Rhuvon Guest came, also Connie, Maria & Evely & Bee. Mama who had just come from Canford, Maria, Richard & Nela dined with us. | |
