2 May 1888 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Wednesday. 2nd [May 1888]. Wrote, worked, read, practised the guitar. Henry went to the City to lunch. It was a wet afternoon. I drove Blanche at 3 till 4 & then we came to our homes. It cleared about 6 so I went round to see Mama & thence to Maria’s. I walked up to her with May Ponsonby whom I met at Mama’s door. Arthur Du Cane walked me home just in time for dinner. Blanche dined with us. | |
