19 June 1888 — Syltebo, Romsdalsfjord | |
Tuesday. 19th [June 1888]. Wrote letters for tomorrow’s post. Went to the rod house & practised my guitar for 2 hours. Took a little lunch at 1. We all went for a walk in the woods & found a few lilies of the valley. Dined at 5. After Fred, Rayd & I were out on the Fjord with Thorwald. Rayd only caught 1 trout & one [illegible word]—we nothing. Landed at Noste & walked home. Just as we got to the Bridge saw Henry arrive at Up. Gredhus & catch a 24¼ lb salmon our first a nice fish. Supper at 11 & bed. | |
