31 July 1888 — Syltebo, Romsdalsfjord | |
Tuesday. 31st July [1888]. I fished in the morning with John down from Friswold, hooked a salmon top of Kjespool & lost him & saw nothing else. Very oppressive day & rain threatening. I came home & rested & played guitar. After dinner I fished Up. & Lr Gred. & in Lr got 4 lb trout & 6 lb grilse. V Consul Dahl dined with us. | |
