7 August 1888 — Syltebo, Romsdalsfjord | |
Tuesday. 7th [August 1888]. Got up directly after breakfast & as it was cloudy went to Friswold with John & fished Terpool & Friswold & Kjespool & Fagerslet & got nothing. Part of the time it was so bright that we stopped & I sat on the bank till a few clouds came up but I got nothing & came home tired & went upstairs & rested & read & practised guitar till 5 o’cl dinner. After dinner I went with Andreas to Up. Grid: & saw nothing but in Lower I killed a 3 lb trout & 24 lb salmon– It rained a little & was heavy & the fish did not rise well. | |
