6 August 1888 — Syltebo, Romsdalsfjord | |
Monday. 6th [August 1888]. Cloudy morning. Henry went fishing after breakfast & killed 15 lb salmon. I went to Up. Gredhus with Thorwald & got 0. Came home & had some lunch & then went out to Lr Gredhus with John & killed 15 lb salmon which gave me a lot of trouble & I had to take him down to the boat house at the mouth of the river & he pulled so hard I thought I must have got a big fish. Came in to dinner & then went to Up. Gredhus & killed a grilse of 4 lbs & a trout. From the bridge hooked fish & lost him. | |
