25 August 1888 — En route to Hull | |
Saturday. 25th August [1888]. Very rough all day. I did not attempt to get up. Henry was very unwell. I was not ill & towards evening got on to the sofa for a change. Very civil stewardess. Annie did not appear. Read & slept away the time. About 9 P.M. the sea abated & we suddenly found ourselves in a fog. | |
