24 August 1888 — Molde | |
Friday. 24th [August 1888]. Were called at 5 & got up to be in readiness to go on board the Hero for Hull but we had to wait till 10 before she arrived. Capt. Lawson received us very kindly & gave Henry & me a large cabin midships. We remained at Aalesund 4 hours shipping cargo. There were 2 gentlemen on board & a Norwegian lady married to an Englishman. We dined at 6½ & by that time we were just getting to the open sea & I could not remain at table & very soon went off to bed. | |
