Monday. 10th [September 1888]. Maria & I took a drive in the Victoria after lunch & left cards on Mrs Williams & drove round by the Crawshay’s Castle—pretty country. Sent Annie our cook who was doing maid up to town to prepare for the arrival of Mme de Riaño who arrives from Paris tomorrow to stay with us. | |
