12 September 1888 — Talygarn, nr. Llantrisant, Glamorgan | |
Wednesday. 12th [September 1888]. Maria & Nela, Henry & I returned to town 2nd class & had a very comfortable journey & a carriage to ourselves. This is the first journey to & from Wales that we have taken 2nd class wh is not a great fashion. Found Emilia Riaño at home. We had not met for 7 years, She is very little changed. I was very ill all night. | |
