8 February 1889 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Friday. 8th [February 1889]. Modelled all the morning. I took the girls to the Lido in the afternoon & we took a walk. We went in the sandolo & called round at Mr Brown’s to see whether he wd go but he had a cold & declined– Lady Galway & Mr Brown dined with us & we had music in the evening but no Tirendelli only Trombini & B. Andrian. | |
