12 June 1889 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset | |
Wednesday. 12th June [1889]. Walked about seeing the new wing containing billiard room & seeing things with Ivor. After lunch went out to see the Primrose League meeting. There were all kind of amusements & a platform for speeches wh as far as I cd hear them were not very interesting. I sat with Elaine who did not seem to care much for the League. She & Ivor went away by 5 o’cl train for London on their way for Marienbad. | |
