Saturday. 6th July [1889]. Henry went to Huguenot Hospital. Kate & I took a cab & went to see the Nurses institute & call on Miss Fowler the Supt. She received us kindly. Showed us the Home & sent us over to see St Bartholomew’s Hospital with Nurse Lang who happened to be at home. We went back to tea with Miss Fowler & then drove to Maria’s it being the twins’ birthday. | |
