12 August 1889 — Landro | |
Monday. 12th August [1889]. We breakfasted at 9 in the balcony of the [illegible word] house in the open air. Dined at 1 o’cl at the table d’hôte– Played bowls with the Sermonetas after dinner till 3.30 & then worked in our own rooms till 5.30 when we went for a walk with the Sermonetas & returned to the hotel for 8 o’cl supper at table d’hôte. Sat with S’s in the room after dinner. | |
