16 August 1889 — La Punta, Longarone | |
Friday. 16th August [1889]. I got up late. Lunch at 1. Mr M took Dacre & the girls a drive up Zoldo valley. Henry & I took a walk. Asked Mr M. to have a bowling alley & he at once ordered one. Dined at 7.30. After lunch read aloud to the girls Byron’s Two Foscari. | |
