6 September 1889 — Milan | |
Friday. 6th [September 1889]. After breakfast packed & then we went to Morellis to ask for a parcel & to our surprise found he was there so we went up to see him. After some time I left the 2 friends talking & went off to the Canzi’s about some work & ordered the bedcover for Mr Clark & then returned fetched Henry & returned to the Hotel Cavour—lunched & went off to the 1.20 train for Venice where we arrived at 7.50. Found Ola & Nela had returned today from Longarone. Lovely night—cool & splendid moon. Henry took girls for a row. | |
