9 September 1889 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Monday. 9th [September 1889]. Nela spent all the morning pasting newspaper cuttings into book & again till 5 o’cl. Mrs Browning called & had tea being lately returned to Venice. Henry, Nela & I went out to Giardinetto after dinner. This morning Henry & Mrs Eden went off to see poor Warsberg’s things wh are to be sold. | |
