9 November 1889 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Saturday. 9th [November 1889]. Hard morning’s work painting & modelling. Being wet did not go out, but returned to modelling after lunch. Henry took Sir Fred out. Mme Mimaut called & also Mr Brown. Read aloud to Henry before dinner. Had a headache & went to bed early. | |
