30 November 1889 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Saturday. 30th [November 1889]. Desideri came & did photos: of my bust & I modelled. Adl Deinhardt called in the morning and asked us to lunch on board the Leipzig on Monday & the girls to come afterwards to a dance. Henry, Nela & I went in gondola to the Eden garden & I sat talking in the lemon house with Mr Eden until 4. Henry walked with Carry Eden. Home, tea & read aloud till dinner. Played harmonium in evening. | |
