29 November 1889 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Friday. 29th [November 1889]. Modelled all the morning. Mrs Brown came to lunch with us. The girls went out in steam launch with Mme Noce. I went out with Henry to Trapolins to enquire abt the Empress Frederic’s damask wh is not yet begun. Then walked to Piazza to look for water colour drawings for Pss Meiningen who wrote to ask me to get her 2 for Pss Sophy in Greece. Home, tea in studio & read aloud till dinner. Harmonium in evening. | |
