30 January 1890 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 30th [January 1890]. Bessie worse & sent for Cini who came at 2 & prescribed for her after which I went to see Mme Mimaut & then to Mrs Edens it being her “day” & found a crowd there. Home to tea & Mme Stefani & her girl came. The girls went to tea with the Montalbas & walked home with Mr Moore. His mother is ill with this influenza epidemic. We played our home trios in evening. | |
