Thursday. 6th [February 1890]. Funeral service today for poor Prince Amadeo in St Marks. Henry, Eda & I went to see the catafalque wh remained there on view all day. It was covered with wonderful arms & persian rugs taken from St Mark’s treasury. Had a good many people to 5 oclock T the Misses West, Persicos &c. In the evening we had our Trios, Tirindelli, Agostini & Trombini. | |
