Tuesday. 8th [April 1890]. Breakfasted in bed. Alice Murray’s children came to see me & I had a 1st view of the pretty baby Betty. We went down to Canford by 3.15 train. Lady Gregory brought her boy Robert to lunch with us at 2. Got to Canford about 7 & found only a family party—& Lady Travers Pratt & her niece & ward Lady Clementina. | |
