13 April 1890 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset | |
Sunday. 13th [April 1890]. Did not get up until lunch & did not go out at all. After lunch a young Musgrave, son of the Broadstone schoolmaster came over & Cornelia made him play to me. He is a student at the Academy of music & plays piano & organ. He is abt 25 & very promising. Sat in Cornelia’s boudoir & read. Ivor sang in the evening & it was very like old times. | |
