19 August 1890 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Tuesday. 19th [August 1890]. Henry got up rather earlier & went down to sit in his own library. I wrote letters all the morng. It rained & Henry could not drive out. I drove with Eda, shopped & then came home to give Henry his tea & sent Eda to take Mama out driving. Went to see the Dss of Sermoneta & sat some time with her. Connie came to tea. Henry dined with us for the first time since his illness. | |
