3 November 1890 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Monday. 3rd [November 1890]. Better & got up at 7 as usual. Wrote a lot of letters till luncheon. Nela in bed with a cold. I took Mama out in gondola in afternoon– We left some cards & went to the Piazza where the band was playing & walked up & down for a long time. I went to Missiaglia & chose a ring to give to Ruth. Tea at 5. Read aloud to Henry. Early to bed. | |
