26 December 1890 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Friday. 26th December [1890]. General fatigue in the house. Henry breakfasted alone– Ola in bed– Nela got into my bed & we breakfasted together & I remained there till 5 when I got on the sofa. There was to have been the mandoline practise at Pal: Rezzonico but it was finally put off. I got up for it & went down to dinner but we were all glad to go early to bed. | |
